Heartland
announces
new product lineup
“We
looked at our current products, studied the marketplace and,
most of all, asked our members what they wanted,” said
Heartland CEO Pam O’Connell. “It became clear that a change
was in order— a change, more than anything, that will
benefit members and move Heartland into a new era of service
and innovation.” And with that, Heartland Credit Union
announced a new lineup of deposit products, including
Rewards Checking, an
eChecking account, a high-yield
eSavings account, the new
Money Maker money market account and
the iSave Club for teens.
Lots of
changes— and they’re all good!
“We realize it’s a lot of change in a short period of time,”
added VP of Operations Dawn Friedrich. “But the changes are
all positive and made in the best interest of our members.”
Existing Performance Plus and Interest Plus checking
accounts will be upgraded to
Rewards Checking accounts. Those who have 55 Prime Plus
Checking will see the name of their account change to
Free 55.
Free Checking will remain, well... free. T.E.A.M. Club
accounts for teens will change to iSave
Club accounts. And Money Market Savings and Money Market
Plus accounts will be rolled into Money
Maker accounts.
Biz
accounts change too
Members with Small Business Checking accounts will see their
accounts become Free Business
Checking. Regular Business
Checking accounts will be enhanced with added value.
